The East Brunswick High School Drama Club is set to close their 2018-2019 season with the Broadway classic, The Music Man. One of American theatre’s most enduring musicals, audiences will march along with seventy-six trombones, as one fast-talking, smooth-as-silk salesman looks to score big in small-town Iowa. “Professor” Harold Hill shows up in River City to peddle his profitable scam - convincing the townspeople that he can teach their children to play musical instruments and that they are in desperate need of a boys band to keep the kids out of trouble! When the local librarian sees through his scheme, the bickering twosome finds the last thing either expected—love. Meredith Wilson’s five-time Tony Award-winning classic is the perfect way to finish off the season.
