Memorial School 5th grader and Student Council member, Shreyas Batra is leading a school wide service project to benefit Elijah's Promise. Last year, he created a coding program to teach others about poverty and to encourage them to donate to Elijah's Promise. This year, he educated Student Council on Elijah's Promise and the upcoming food drive he planned for the school to participate in for the week of the Great Kindness Challenge. He created flyers to be distributed to the school and had students use his coding program. Below is the link to his coding program and the items we will be collecting as a school during the Great Kindness Week- Monday, January 28th through Friday, February 1st.
They are collecting the following items for donations:
vegetable and olive oil
herbs and spices (pepper and garlic powder are most in need)
salad dressing - (balsamic)
paper products (plates, bowls, cups, and napkins) *Please try to bring in bulk items.*
