Welcome to the Child Nutrition Department's Home Page
The Child Nutrition Department is responsible for the nutritional well-being of our students, which includes the East Brunswick Board of Education’s participation in the National School Lunch Program and the National School Breakfast Program. We plan and prepare food that is not only nutritious but also appetizing and in compliance with all federal and state regulations and policies. Every school day, our dedicated staff serves approximately 4,000 meals.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the State of New Jersey has extended their program that provides breakfast and lunch meals at no cost to all students, regardless of meal status, for the 2021/2022 school year.
