Kindergarten students must be registered by Tuesday, May 20, 2025, in order to participate in the June Kindergarten classroom visit and screening. Visit registration page for details.
Counselors visit each elementary school in January to review the schedule and support system with 4th graders. Sources of Strength students at HUES are connected virtually with tips and advice for rising 5th graders.
In May, HUES will host an open house for 5th graders during a school day.
Over the summer, students can attend Head Start at HUES if they have transition-related challenges. New student orientation is held at the end of August.
Planning for Adult Life is a statewide project funded by the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) to assist young adults (between the ages of 16-21) with developmental disabilities and their families in charting a life course for adulthood.
