General Education Inclusive Preschool Program

Location is determined based on student enrollment and room availability.

This preschool program is open to 3 and 4-year-old children residing in East Brunswick. To be eligible for the 2026-2027 school year, children must be three years of age by October 31, 2026 and not age eligible for kindergarten (5 years of age by October 31, 2026). Children must also be toilet trained.

This program provides an inclusive educational environment for preschool children aligned with the New Jersey Department of Education Preschool Teaching & Learning Expectations: Standards of Quality.  The classes, taught by certified teachers and supported by paraprofessional aides, include both typically developing and special needs preschool children.  This program provides an inclusive educational environment for preschool children aligned with the New Jersey Preschool Teaching and Learning Expectations.

Early Learning Academy (ELA)

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open!

Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year is open!  All registration paperwork can be dropped off at the Administration Building (760 Route 18) in our 24-hour secure mailbox.   Please email commprog@ebnet.org with any questions.

Full-Day, Half AM, and Half PM options are available. Early morning and/or after-school care is also available. This parent-pay program is for 3 and 4-year-old children residing in East Brunswick and the surrounding areas. To be eligible for the 2026-2027school year, children must be three years of age by October 31, 2026, and must also be fully toilet-trained.

The curriculum design and implementation are based on the New Jersey Department of Education Preschool Teaching & Learning Expectations: Standards of Quality and the Preschool Implementation Guidelines. Certified supervisors with expertise in the field of early childhood and school readiness oversee the planning and preparation for the program. The plans will be implemented by experienced and caring staff, most of whom are certified teachers. The program provides parents with the opportunity to register their child for a five-day/week developmentally appropriate learning experience within the school district.   Half Day and Full Day options are available.  This tuition-based program is five days per week. Transportation for this program is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

Bears and Cubs Preschool (Teaching Laboratory at EBHS)

Bears and Cubs is open to East Brunswick residents who have children 3 and 4 years old.  This program is free and begins in late October (first day of school is yet to be determined) and ends in June. For two hours a day, 8:00 am-10:00 am, three times a week, Monday through Wednesday, children attend the Bears and Cubs preschool. 

In order to be eligible, children must be three years of age by October 31st of the current year and not be eligible for kindergarten.  Children must be fully potty-trained in order to start.
