Change of Address
Student Address Change in East Brunswick
If you've moved to a new home within East Brunswick, you need to update your student's address with the school district. Both the student and a parent or legal guardian must live at the new address at the time of the change.
To complete the address change, please follow these steps:
- Gather the required documents:
- Student Change of Address Form: ChangeofAddressForm.pdf, one form for each student.
- Parent/Guardian Photo ID
- Deed, Mortgage Statement, or Current Lease in the parent's/guardian's name.
- Two current utility bills (such as cable, gas, electric, or water) in the parent's/guardian's name. These can be submitted when you change the address or within 30 days.
- Submit your documents:
- Email: Scan all the completed forms and documents and send them to EBPSResidency@ebnet.org.
- Drop-off: If you can't scan the documents, place them in an envelope addressed to "District Registration - Address Change" and leave it in the drop box in front of the EBPS Administration Building at 760 Route 18.
Once the paperwork is received, the school and the transportation office will be notified. Please note that new bus assignments can take 3-5 business days to process after your documents have been received. The transportation office will contact you by phone with the new bus details once they're ready.
If you have any questions, please contact the District Registration Office at 732-613-6980 for assistance.
