I am excited to introduce myself as your child's Spanish teacher this year, and welcome my 6th grade students to Spanish class! I am an enthusiastic teacher who takes pride in helping students achieve short term goals and apply the Spanish language in everyday use. I am looking forward teaching your child a new avenue of language that they can utilize in years to come. I believe a controlled class climate is built on trust and safety, and that each child deserves to be in a learning environment that is comfortable. My classroom is developed with hands-on resources and supplies that children can use for the enhancement of learning the language. I am originally from Milwaukee Wisconsin. After graduating high school I spent three months in Costa Rica. I studied Spanish at Centro Cultural where I learned to speak Spanish in three months that summer and continued to study Education and Spanish at Brooklyn College.   I graduated Brooklyn College with my Master of Arts Degree in Education. I love the Spanish language and I love teaching! This year I will be teaching 24 years! I enjoy traveling and  I have been to Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Costa Rica. I like to stay active and keep fit by  teaching Spin Classes at the YMCA in Freehold.  I ride over 100 miles a week.  I raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and The Diabetes Association  by participating in the MS Coast to Coast 50 mile ride each year as well as, The Diabetes Association "Tour de Cure". I have 4 sons, my oldest is a Lawyer.  I enjoy cooking, reading, snow skiing, theater,boating, dancing, and much more!
