Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Jeffrey Elias

I am a proud graduate of Rutgers University where I studied Math and
Accounting.  I graduated in 1989 and went to work as an auditor for Ernst &
Young where I earned my CPA license.  After a few years as an auditor, I
changed careers and began my teaching career.  The 2017-2018 school year will
be my 25th year teaching mathematics.  I began teaching in 1993 at Dayton
Regional High School in Springfield, NJ and then moved to East Brunswick High
School in 1996.

I will be teaching Algebra 2 and Algebra 2 Lab during the 2017-2018 school year
and will be available for extra help in room G17 on Tuesdays before
school (6:45-7:15) and Thursdays after school (2:15-2:55).

I was the bowling coach at EBHS for 13 years and I coached baseball for 13
years; 4 at Emerson Jr. Sr. High School (Bergen County) and 9 years at East
Brunswick.  In addition, I coached girls basketball for 2 years at Dayton
Regional High School.

My high school coaching days are behind me as I now coach and/or watch my four children at
various levels of baseball, basketball, softball, and field hockey.
