Irwin School 3rd grade hosted their first annual “Upcycling Communities” Expo today.

Each group of students collaborated to created either a rural, suburban or urban community. The collaborative work helped the students become successful problem solvers, communicators, and partners. Using upcycled materials and EBEF grant funded items, students created models of each type of community and presented their process and content area knowledge to parents, fellow students, teachers, and administrators.
