• A Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Lawrence Brook School website! The mission of Lawrence Brook School is to teach students the skills necessary for success in the 21st Century while enabling them to reach their full potential academically, emotionally, and socially. We foster a collaborative relationship within our diverse community that encourages lifelong learning.  We accomplish our mission by infusing technology, implementing research-based practices and providing interactive learning experiences, as well as by building confidence in oneself and respect for others.

From Pre-K to Grade 5, our students enjoy a safe and positive learning environment as we work toward our school goal that all students will achieve at their highest potential. In addition to the high quality instructional programs in all content areas, the curriculum is enriched through our music, visual arts, technology, physical education, and media studies programs. Specialized programs offered to students include basic skills instruction, special education, English as a second language, speech, gifted and talented, character education, physical and occupational therapy. Additionally, there are many exciting opportunities for students to explore their interests outside of the classroom through extracurricular activities such as the Garden Club, Video Newsmakers, Buddy Readers, Safety Patrol, Chorus, Band and Student Council. Additionally, this year, we will be adding two new clubs—Coding Club and Stem Club!

Lawrence Brook is a true community school where the relationship between school staff, the PTA, parents and guardians, and members of the community is strong. It is through the collaboration between these stakeholders that Lawrence Brook is able to offer so many beneficial and motivating programs each year. The support of the PTA is vital to our success as a school. More information about the Lawrence Brook PTA, including special events and volunteer opportunities, can be found by visiting https://www.ebnet.org//site/Default.aspx?PageID=6767

Our official school theme for the year is "Bee the best you can be at Lawrence Brook." Through this theme, we will explore ways to reach our goals by demonstrating such traits as responsibility, respect, citizenship and caring.

I look forward to being a partner in your child’s educational journey and encourage you to reach out with any questions or thoughts about the school.
