    New Jersey Food for Thought Campaign: The New Jersey Food for Thought Campaign works in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Agriculture to expand access to three federal child nutrition programs — school breakfast, summer meals and afterschool snacks and dinners.  Please see link for more information.

     

    Scouts-BSA Interest Meeting for Girls - Last Day of School:  Did you hear?  Beginning February 2019, girls can work toward earning the Eagle Rank of BSA!  The Parent Committee of BSA Troop 501 of East Brunswick is inviting to an interest meeting any girls age 11-17 who want to learn more about this amazing leadership & character development opportunity.  Please see the attached flyer to learn more about Scouts-BSA & our meeting on Thursday, June 21st.

    Have you wanted to join a Girl Scout troop but just don't have the time? Check this out. Busy teens can be Independent Girl Scouts -- all the programs and awards without the scheduled troop meetings. Teen girls can do badge work, attend events, travel, earn awards or do community service on their own time. (And independent doesn’t mean alone. There will be adult guidance and plenty of opportunities to get together with others). Independent Girl Scouts is for motivated and self-confident girls.     St. Bart’s Football and Cheer will be holding its Annual FREE Summer Clinics. Clinics are open to anyone for football and cheer from age 5-14. The cheer and football clinics will be held on Monday July 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd at the East Brunswick High School Football Field. Clinics run from 6:30 PM – 8 PM. Come to one or come to all. Clinics will be about conditioning and the fundamentals of football and cheer. Rutgers football players will be in attendance. Any questions contact stbartscoach@gmail.com.
