Change in School Calendar: Since we have not used all of our emergency closing days during this school year, Friday, May 27th will become a non-school day for students and non-workday for 10-month staff. Additionally, Friday, June 3rd, will become a single session for all students and all staff with lunch served in grades K-7.The Visual Arts Department is hosting their 2nd Annual Outdoor Spring Art Walk beginning Friday, May 13th through Monday, June 13th at the Municipal Complex. There will be approximately 320 pieces of student artwork on display. This was funded by an EBEF Grant. Please see flyer for more information.
The East Brunswick Public School District Community Programs Department is offering the Early Learning Academy Preschool classes for the 11th year! This parent-pay program is for 3 and 4-year-old children residing in East Brunswick and surrounding areas. Children must also be toilet trained. Certified supervisors with expertise in the field of early childhood and school readiness oversee the planning and preparation for the program. This tuition-based program is five days per week with half day morning, half day afternoon and full day options available. The program is located in a designated section in the Hammarskjold Middle School and transportation for this program is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
The Early Learning Academy (ELA) Pre-School Registration began Monday, April 4, 2022. Please visit www.ebnet.org/ela for full registration instructions, including fees and all required forms. Attention East Brunswick residents with young children! Children who will be five years of age on or before October 31, 2022 are eligible for the East Brunswick Public School full-day kindergarten program for the 2022-2023 school year. Please visit www.ebnet.org/register for information and registration instructions. All required forms and additional information can be found on the website. Incoming Kindergarten students must be registered by Monday, May 23, 2022, in order to participate in the June Kindergarten classroom visit and screening.
The East Brunswick Public School District offers General Education Inclusive Preschool classes. This preschool program is open to all three and four-year-old children who reside in East Brunswick. Children must be three years of age by October 31st, 2022 and not age eligible for kindergarten (5 years of age by October 31st, 2022) in order to participate in the program in September 2022. The Lost Souls Public Memorial Project, Inc. - Fifth Annual Recitation of Names will take place on Sunday, May 22nd from 4 PM - 6 PM at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center. Please see flyer for more information.

St. Bart’s Bufflos Football and Cheer Fall AYF registration is open. www.stbartsbuffalos.com Play and cheer with American Youth Football and American Youth Cheer. The largest youth football and cheer organization in the country. Over 50 years of serving the youth of our community. Ages 5 through 14. Age determined as of July, 31 2022.
Flag Football and cheer for 5 and 6 year olds. Age specific football. Tackle teams at every level. 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U(7th grade), and 14U (8th grade). Best in class equipment and the #1 rated Vicis Zero2 football helmet. See attached flyer for registration information.
St. Bart's Buffalos Football and Cheer will be hosting FREE conditioning and agility clinics for football players and cheerleaders. Everyone is invited. Grades K-7. Wednesday nights June 15, 22 and 29 on Turf Field B at Heavenly Farms. 440 Dunham's Corner Road in East Brunswick. Clinics Run from 6:30 to 8pm. Arrive early to check-in. Bring water and wear athletic clothes.
The Blackhawks Girls Lacrosse Team will be holding a Summer Lacrosse Clinic for seven (7) weeks on Tuesday evenings starting on June 14, 2022 through July 26, 2022 at Heavenly Farms Turf Field B, 440 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick (June dates) and Bicentennial Park, 176 Hardenburg Lane, East Brunswick (July dates) from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM. The Lacrosse Clinic is open to any girl entering Grades 2 and up in East Brunswick and surrounding towns. Clinic will be coached by Coach Krista and Rutgers Women’s Lacrosse players. This clinic is appropriate for beginners through advanced players. Players will be grouped by skill level after first day evaluation. - Each order now includes eight (8) rapid antigen COVID-19 tests
- Your order of eight (8) tests will come in two (2) separate packages, with four (4) tests per package. Each package will have its own tracking number.
