Message From The Principal

Welcome to Warnsdorfer Elementary School where learning is fun and engaging and where our teachers and our community have high expectations for our students. Academic development and social growth are at the forefront of all we do at Warnsdorfer as we strive to provide our K-4 students with a challenging and nurturing environment.  At Warnsdorfer, our students grow confident and independent while mastering the skills and routines that will ensure their success in the upper grades.  

At Warnsdorfer our teachers individualize instruction for the variety of learners in our building using data and on-going, authentic assessments. Our curriculum is comprehensive, aligned to national standards, and flows seamlessly through our grade levels. A professional staff of educators develops and implements creative, interesting lessons for our students. To meet the needs of our students, teachers in our building develop rich, collaborative relationships with the parents in our community. As a result, our students remember our teachers and the lessons that they learn at Warnsdorfer long after they leave our school building. 

Warnsdorfer students and teachers are very busy learning and teaching a rigorous academic program. However, students also participate in rich cultural arts activities, courtesy of the collaborative efforts of the district arts curriculum, the PTA, and the East Brunswick Education Foundation. Each year, our PTA provides professional acts from top quality performers. Their ranks include dancers, actors, authors, musicians, puppeteers, and historians. In addition, the PTA hosts book fairs, an International Night, a Halloween Boogie Bash, a school wide Walk-a-Thon, and a variety of events for our students each year.

Our focus on character education is woven into our school theme, our curriculum and our school goals. Kind deeds and acts of good character are celebrated each and every day and are recognized at the classroom and school level to instill and reinforce the values that we proudly promote in our school. 

Many of the dedicated Warnsdorfer staff members serve as advisors to our school sponsored clubs. Students may choose from such activities as Student Council, S.A.V.E. Club, Chorus, Safety Patrol, Early Act Club and Video Newsmakers.

At Warnsdorfer School, the staff has a long history of providing children with the very best in educational opportunities within a caring environment. Warnsdorfer has been named a National Blue Ribbon School and our teachers continue the traditions of excellent instruction and best practices in teaching. We take great pride in the achievements of our students, fostering their curiosity and encouraging a love of learning. Collectively, our hard working students, caring, professional staff, and supportive parents make Warnsdorfer Elementary School an exceptional place to learn and grow.
