Welcome to the Child Nutrition Department's Home Page

The Child Nutrition Department is responsible for the nutritional well-being of our students, which includes the East Brunswick Board of Education’s participation in the National School Lunch Program and the National School Breakfast Program. We plan and prepare food that is not only nutritious but also appetizing and in compliance with all federal and state regulations and policies. Every school day, our dedicated staff serves approximately 4,000 meals.

In order for a breakfast or lunch to qualify as a reimbursable meal, your child must take a fruit, 100% 4 oz fruit juice or a vegetable.

All requests must include the student’s identification number and be received by the Child Nutrition Department no later than June 30 of the year in which the student leaves the district in order to be honored.
