Monday February 3, 2025 at 7pm in the EBHS Auditorium: Dan Sempkowski is the current athletic director at Georgian Court University, and he is an East Brunswick High School alumnus. Dan graduated EBHS in 2004 and he has an extensive volleyball background as both a player and a coach. Dan will be providing information to our athletes and families about how to be recruited at the Division I, II, III, or junior college level as well as some of the expectations that come along with being college student athlete.  If you would like to be a part of this night, please fill out the google form if you are interested in attending: Google Form for "How to be Recruited Night"

On Wednesday, February 5th, beginning at 7:00, the East Brunswick Public Schools is hosting a parent evening with George Scott to address the importance of Raising Healthy Children.  The event will take place in the JMPAC at Hammarskjold Upper Elementary School. Mr. Scott is a Family Therapist, former Middlesex County Director of Student Services, and current state-wide Coordinator for the Traumatic Loss Coalition.  George's message is intended to help parents understand how exposure to toxic experiences in their children's lives can interfere with academic success, can disrupt successful relationships with other children and with adults, and can result in what he describes as emotional hurt.  George Scott's optimistic message will help parents, as well as teachers in the classroom, understand their role in promoting children's well-being from infancy to preschool to high school.  Come be part of this important and worthwhile conversation.
