Careers & Career Internship
East Brunswick High School
Our updated careers education program—Careers and Career Internship—is a full-year course that provides East Brunswick High School students aged 16 or older with the opportunity to gain meaningful real-world experience through in-class and internship experiences (students must intern for a minimum of 15 hours per week). Classroom learning and on-site workplace experiences should be intentionally aligned so that each reinforces the other. Partner employers meet criteria established by the New Jersey Department of Education in cooperation with the New Jersey Department of Labor, ensuring students receive current, high-quality training.Students may participate in a career internship to earn and save money for college or to build skills that can lead directly to employment after graduation.
