The field of accounting is for individuals looking for an exciting career; one that offers high earning potential, travel throughout the USA and abroad, and the opportunity to advance in many careers. Accounting I Part 1 will introduce students to the accounting cycle, which will serve as a sound background for employment in both the private sector and government entities, owning your own business, and preparation for studying business/commerce courses at college and ultimately in graduate school. Students will be introduced to the computerized accounting cycle stressing general ledger skills needed for producing financial statements for both a single proprietorship and a partnership. Every student needs to begin to master their finances now, and for the rest of their lives. Our Financial Literacy course addresses the need for all students to know how to earn, save, and manage their money. Through engaging, student-centered activities and projects that require 21st-century skills, our students will master career exploration, money management, credit, saving and investing skills. They will also dive into the world of informed purchasing, civic financial responsibility and risk management.

Our Financial Literacy course teaches you to master your money and secure your future. This program is designed to give you the essential tools to earn, save, and manage your money effectively for the rest of your life.
In this course, you will:

AP Business with Personal Finance is a yearlong high school business and personal finance course that aligns closely with a college-level introduction to business course. Students explore the business disciplines of entrepreneurship, marketing, finance, accounting, and management through real-world business applications, case studies, and project-based learning. In addition, students learn and apply all the National Standards for Personal Financial Education created by the Council for Economic Education and the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy.

AP Business with Personal Finance is a year-long course designed to give you a head start on your future career after college. Think of it as a "Greatest Hits" of the business world; it is not just textbook study—you'll be diving into entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, and management through real-world case studies coupled with hands-on projects. 
Besides learning how to run a company, you’ll master the "money skills" everyone needs in adult life. The course covers the National Standards for Personal Financial Education, teaching you how to manage your own bank account, invest wisely, and build wealth. Whether you want to launch a startup business or just want to be smart with your income, this course will give you the tools for success in your personal life and the boardroom.
