In the middle school, sixth graders engage in a study of the environment through a series of field studies at Dallenbach’s Natural Area in the fall semester and an intensive experience in environmental studies during their three-day stay at an environmental education center in the spring. Seventh graders use the process approach to learning earth, life and physical science.
