    Welcome to my first grade class!
    My name is Mrs. Thompson and I love teaching! Here are some of my other favorites:
    - Traveling, especially to Colorado to visit my sister, Kristen
    - Going to the beach 
    - Swimming
    - Reading
    - Trying new things, especially food!
    - Playing with my fluffy cat, Charlie!
    I am thrilled to be back at Bowne-Munro school. This is my sixth year teaching at Bowne-Munro school! I was an instructional at Bowne-Munro and before that I taught second grade in Holmdel. I 
am also no stranger to Bowne-Munro school. I attended Bowne-Munro from grades K-5 and graduated from East Brunswick High School. We will all work hard to take care of one another and help one another each and every day to make this year the best and most fun!
I am so excited for this year and know with the support from both school and home each child will have a happy and successful year in first grade.
