The Student EBEF was founded in 2011 by the EBEF and students at East Brunswick High School. The Student EBEF is a volunteer club at EBHS and now extended to a CJHS chapter. Members of the club raise money and fund grants for student projects, programs, and more at all schools. The club also assists the EBEF at major functions. The EBEF helps fund the club. A major component of the Student EBEF's funding is from the "Apples for Education" held during Back to School nights at each school.
