HOLIDAY SHOPPING BOUTIQUE
Thanks to everyone who shopped at our Holiday Boutique this week! This was a fun opportunity for children to purchase their own holiday gifts for family members and friends. We hope that eveyone enjoys their gifts! Also, a BIG THANK YOU to the PTA parents and grandparents who volunteered their time to help us run the boutique this week. Your help was greatly appreciated!
ADOPT-A-FAMILY HOLIDAY GIFT DONATIONS
This holiday season, Memorial PTA has "adopted" two families through the East Brunswick Recreation Community Services program. The families have provided us with some "Wish List" items. Please use the Sign Up Genius link below to donate a gift.
We are also be accepting monetary donations to purchase additional gifts and gift cards for the families.
Please send monetary donations to school in an envelope labeled "PTA Adopt-a-Family Gift Donation". No amount is too small!
Gifts do not need to be wrapped. Please send them to school in a bag labeled "PTA Adopt-a-Family Gift Donation".
All donations should be sent to school by Tuesday, December 17th.

STAFF HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
The Memorial PTA will be hosting a Staff Holiday Luncheon on Thursday, December 19th. We will be providing a catered lunch, but we need donations of side dishes and desserts to complete our luncheon. Please consider signing up to donate a homemade or store-bought dessert or side dish. Please use the Sign Up link below to donate to the Holiday Luncheon.
We are also accepting monetary donations to help with the cost of the catered food and to purchase additional food and supplies. Please send monetary donations to school by Monday, Dec.16th in an envelope labeled "PTA Holiday Luncheon".
JOIN THE HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE !
Memorial PTA Hospitality Committee will be responsible for planning the Staff Holiday Luncheon in December and a breakfast, lunch and other activities for Teacher Appreciation Week in May.

WINTER CLASS PARTIES
Winter Class Parties will take place on Friday, December 20th. Room parents have sent letters and/or emails to collect snacks, other party supplies and a class gift. Please remember that only PTA Room Parents that are assigned to the Winter Party and are on an approved security list will be allowed in the building for the parties.
SCHOOL STORE - Volunteer Slots Available!
The school store is open Thursdays during your child's lunch period. Prices range from $0.25 to $5.00 . If you send your child to school with some extra change, he/she can have a fun shopping experience! You'll also be supporting the PTA!
Be a School Store Vounteer-
We need some parent volunteers to help at our School Store. The School Store takes place from 11:00am - 1:15pm. Please only sign up for a slot if you are able to stay for the entire time period. Your responsibilities will be to help set up the items in the School Store and assist children with their purchases. Remember that volunteers must also be current PTA members. School Store Gift Certificates-
Is your child celebrating a birthday soon? The school store has gift certificates that we can distribute to your child's class. This is a great substitution for traditional goody bags. To purchase gift certificates, you must request them in advance.

SAVE THE DATE - PANERA DINE TO DONATE - SUNDAY, JAN. 19th
Memorial PTA will be having a Dine to Donate Event at Panera Bread located in Brunswick Square Mall (755 State Rt 18) on Sunday, January 19th from 4PM - 8PM
Please come out to support our PTA! Simply show the attached flyer when placing your order and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Memorial School PTA.

5th GRADE COMMITTEE
Attention 5th Grade Parents! It is not too late to join the 5th Grade Committee to help plan the events and activities for the 5th Grade this year! If interested, please email Angela at firstname.lastname@example.org.
5th Grade Opt-Out Fundraiser – Extended!
We have a large 5th grade class and need your support! Just $60 per family allows our class to pay for a end of year Lakeview field trip and gift each student with Moving Up HMS merchandise.
If you’re unable to support this buyout fundraiser, we ask that you contribute to upcoming activities that benefit our class. This way everyone contributes!
