    There are plenty of jobs to do day or evening to make a positive impact on our children's lives and among the Warnsdorfer community. If you are interested in volunteering for an upcoming event or fundraiser, please contact any member of the PTA Board to sign up.

    You can do so by:

    Become a Room Parent or Grade Coordinator! Become a Committee Chair!
    Sign Up to Volunteer by September 16th!

    Room Parents:
    Attend a mandatory online orientation on Sept 21st at 7pm after our PTA meeting
    Introduce yourself to all parents in your class via an introductory email/letter
    Select/ coordinate volunteers for classroom parties
    Coordinate donations for parties
    Coordinate teacher holiday and end-of-year gifts  

    Grade Coordinators:
    Attend a mandatory online orientation on Sept 22nd at 7pm
    Assist Room Parents with classroom activities
    Assist Room Parents with parties if there is a shortage of volunteers in the grade.
    Relay information about party times and rules to Room Parents
    Coordinate and purchase holiday and end-of-year gifts for specials teachers.

    Become a Room Parent or Grade Coordinator
    E-mail Classroom Liaison Sunny Zapoticzny at sunn.zapoticzny@gmail.com. Provide:

    Your name and your child's name
    Child’s grade and teacher's name
    Position you'd like (Room Parent or Grade Coordinator)
    Cell phone number

    To give everyone a chance, priority will be given to those who were not a room parent or coordinator in previous years. Once Room Parents and Coordinators have been selected, a folder will be sent home with pertinent information for your class. Coordinators and Room Parents will be contacted via email.

    4th Grade Committee Chair:
    Organize 4th grade social and picnic with help from 4th grade parents
    Purchase class gifts and lawn signs
    Organize graduation in conjunction with the school
    Fundraise if needed

    Tricky Tray Chair or Committee Member:
    Help the board organize a tricky tray fundraiser.
    Money raised will support the purchase of a new sound system for the multi-purpose room as our current system is very old and in need of repair! This equipment is frequently used by the school.

    Yearbook Committee Chair:
    Help 4th grade students select pictures and layout the yearbook.
    Take photos at school events
    Collect photos from teachers and parents
    Help with backend planning and yearbook sales in partnership with VP.

    Book Fair Chair / Theater Week Chair:
    Run these events! With help. Don’t worry!
