The PTA Membership Committee is looking forward to an exciting and enthusiastic school year! In case you are unfamiliar with the PTA, we are an organization of both parents and teachers designed for the benefit of our children and our school.
The membership dues we collect from you help to defer the cost of varied events that occur throughout the school year, as well as to enhance technology at the school. Here are a few examples:
- Ice Cream Social
- Field Day
- Winter Carnival
- Halloween Boogie Bash
According to PTA bylaws, you must be a PTA member to participate in any of the following:
- Class Trips/Room Parent
- Vote in the PTA Elections or participate in any PTA Vote (i.e. PTA Budget Approval)
- Serve on a Standing Committee
Membership dues are ONLY:
- $7.00 for an individual membership (1 member card)
- $13.00 for a family membership (maximum 2 member cards)
Each year we start a new PTA membership campaign. As always we are appealing to ALL of our Irwin families to participate in helping us reach our 100% membership goal (1 membership per family qualifies…that’s ONLY $7.00).
