  • Are there opportunities for me to actively participate at Churchill?

The best way to be active as a parent is to attend the PTA meetings, Back To School Night, grade level parent meetings and conferences. The meeting dates are on the district calendar and will be sent to you in a blackboard email in our PTA email blasts. Anything that may be going on at the school is discussed at these meetings which are regularly attended by our Principal, Mr. Matthew Hanas. Mr. Hanas also communicates regularly through his blackboard email communication.

  • How can I be active in my child's school?

The best way to remain active in your child's school is to join the PTA.

All money raised during the membership drive and through other fundraising efforts goes directly back  to Churchill Junior high school and its students. In the past the PTA has provided the school with TVs, Chromebooks, a golf cart,
defibrilators, a school beautification fund, a new scoreboard and a trophy case.  Our plans for this year are to provide our school with refillable water bottle stations.  We also help support our staff with events for teacher appreciation week.  Your financial support is needed to maintain these givebacks for our students and staff.

The PTA has also sponsored assemblies in the past to help enrich our children's education.
