    Celebrating Birthdays
     
1. If you would like your child to share their birthday
    celebration with our class, you may send in nonfood
    items. This could be small toys or trinkets.
    You can also purchase gift certificates 
    to the school store (in any denomination)

2. If your child is passing out invitations at school to
    their birthday party, please be sure that all students
    in the class are invited. This prevents tears for our
    sensitive first graders.

3. Your child may donate a birthday book to our
    school library. They will get to present the book
    during our morning meeting.
