Mrs. Lori Krantz Fitter
House 5 Math Teacher
Math 6 & Math Prime
I received a Bachelor’s degree with honors from Douglass College and a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood/ Elementary Education with a Concentration in Mathematics from the Rutgers University Graduate School of Education. I am also certified as a supervisor.
I started in East Brunswick in 2001 as a traveling 5th and 6th grade Math Prime Teacher. I travelled between HMS, Chittick, Irwin & Memorial. In 2010 I became a full time House teacher at Hammarskjold. Before coming to East Brunswick I taught fifth grade in Irvington, NJ.

My goal for each of my students is to allow him/her to reach their maximum potential. It is my job to promote growth in the field of mathematics, while ensuring students’ comfort and confidence in the subject area. I want students who enter my class who already love math and are really good at it, to leave my class loving it even more, and being even better at it. I want
students who enter my class dreading and fearing math or who aren't that good at it, to learn to hate it less and be at least a little bit better at
it. Many people think math is boring and useless, through my humor and enthusiasm, I hope my students learn otherwise.
