Welcome, 

Yo soy Señora Baez-Cardona, spanish teacher at East Brunswick High School since 2004.  I am very excited and looking forward to working with you this year.  I love Spanish and enjoy teaching it.  I take great pride in what I do.  I hope that you will enjoy a year full of great learning, being able to communicate in Spanish and learning about the diverse cultures of the Spanish speaking world.

Sharing a little background about myself:

I was born and raised in Queens, New York but my family is from COLOMBIA, not Columbia.  

I am married to Señor Cardona and have two amazing boys Javier and Nikolas whom we love very much.  

I enjoy traveling and had the pleasure of visiting Colombia almost every summer growing up. I have also visited Costa Rica, Mexico and Dominican Republic and plan to continue traveling and learning more about the Spanish speaking world. 

I love and enjoy teaching my language and culture.  I love my students and my goal is for you to enjoy a year filled with lots of fun learning being able to communicate in the target language on a daily basis and work to improve your proficiency level everyday.  Most important of all, I want you to know that I am here for you, to help you and guide you in learning.

Please check Parent Access for messages from me and visit our Google Classroom. Students will be able to give you access information to view or join our page.
