Hola! Bienvenidos!

My name is Beatriz Verano and I am from Colombia. I am married, my husband is also a teacher. We are proud parents of two girls, Valentina (18) and Melissa (8). We enjoy visiting Colombia every year.  I love to cook, dance and jogging.

I have been teaching for 18 years. I am always excited to teach the Spanish language as well as the many cultures of our Spanish-speaking world.

I have been teaching in East Brunswick for eleven years, and I have taught many levels including Spanish AP Language and Culture, and 5 Honors amongst others. My goal is to help students learn to love the language and culture of the Spanish-speaking world.

I am looking forward to a great school year!
