August 2020
Dear Warnsdorfer Families,
Welcome to 4th grade! You will be in Mrs. Mizerak’s homeroom (4C). I will be your Math, Science, and Social Studies teacher. In the afternoon, Mrs. Johnson will be your Reading and Writing teacher. We have an exciting year ahead that will be filled with lots to explore, experience, and learn!
Whether in class or at home, we look forward to meeting you in the upcoming weeks. We will work as a team to strengthen the character traits of respect, kindness, and trustworthiness. As citizens of our remote or hybrid classroom community, we will establish an environment that is cooperative, accepting, and eager to learn from others. We will also set classroom and personal goals throughout the year, working hard to achieve them.
Students, we will be utilizing a digital notebook of resources for all subjects. Additionally, those in the hybrid model will receive a STAR binder (Students That Are Responsible) which will include the resources given digitally. This binder and digital notebook will quickly fill up with the same helpful resources as the year progresses. You may bring in a healthy snack and water bottle (Labeled with your name!) daily. We will work together to help you develop the organization to be successful while learning. You have an important job in 4th grade. Your job is to be prepared for school, smiling and ready to learn.
Below, you will find our 4th grade supply list. If you are hybrid, please only bring one of each item in a supply case large enough to fit all supplies (other than the 5 marble notebooks, and 2 folders) . You may leave the refill items home.
