• Hello, I am Mrs. Boylan

    I am the Library Media Specialist at Lawrence Brook Elementary School. This is my 11th year working with East Brunswick Public Schools!  I graduated with my Master of Library and Information Science degree from Rutgers University- School of Communication and Information in 2011 and began working as an elementary school Library Media Specialist right away.
     
    Of course I love to read books and create with technology but I also love to travel and explore. Even though I have been around the world, I find that I still have a long list of places I hope to get to someday. Spending time outdoors brings me peace and I enjoy hiking, swimming, bicycling and paddling. Having grown up singing, dancing and involved in theater, playing dress-up and having the chance to pretend to be different characters still brings me joy. In the library I often get the chance to make the characters from my favorite books come alive! 
     
    I look forward to sharing what I know with you, learning about what you know, and traveling together on journeys of discovery and knowledge in the Media Center.
