OUR GOALS

Inclusion
It is a goal of the LBS PTA to include all LBS families in events, activities, conversations and goings-on of this organization. Our Family Relations Coordinator will serve to be the missing link between families with language barriers as well as families with special needs, and the LBS PTA. We strive to have all families as informed and included as possible.

Student Advocacy
The PTA serves ALL students. It is our intention to step in and advocate for any and all families who may have a barrier. Working together with the staff at Lawrence Brook, our Family Relations Coordinator role is crucially needed and potentially will make a significant impact on our students' and parents' quality of life. 

How will volunteers support families?
Assist families in contacting the school or district with questions or for assistance
Work with Point Parents to help families become more involved in classroom activities and events
Translate PTA flyers and information
Seek ways to be inclusive, always!
