East Brunswick High School Community Service
The East Brunswick High School Community Service Project fosters the development of sound character, democratic values, ethical judgment, good behavior and the ability to work in a self-disciplined and purposeful manner. This experience is voluntary and altruistic in nature. High school students are asked to volunteer their time to help those in need, for a minimum of 15 hours, during the year.
Students can participate with parental permission and then choose from a number of service possibilities. The culmination of the Community Service Program is a written report which gives the student the opportunity to reflect upon the differences that community service has made in his/her life and the lives of others.
Applications to perform community service are available in the school counseling and main offices and must be approved by the Grade Level Administrator.
