Inclusive Girl Scout Troop Formed!
All girls should have a safe space. All girls can be Girl Scouts.
The Girl Scouts of New/North Brunswick have formed an Inclusive Troop for girls in grades K-5 with any variation of cognitive functioning or physical abilities, and will continually reinforce the value set around equity and inclusion so that our efforts are sustainable and impactful/meaningful. Troop 82590 will focus on Social Skills, Peer Modeling and Life Skills, while valuing diversity, differences, and team building around the Girl Scout mission, promise, and law. You do not have to live in New Brunswick or North Brunswick to participate.
Fast Break Basketball
Fast Break Basketball's mission is to provide an opportunity for disabled children and young adults to enjoy the game of basketball in a competitive setting, fostering good sportsmanship and steady improvement in basketball skills ... and to feel good about themselves!

TOPSoccer for All Abilities
TOPSoccer, The Outreach Program for Soccer, is the US Youth Soccer’s community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl who has a mental or physical disability. Volunteer teenage “buddies” are paired with students, and together they participate in stretching and ball work, fun games, and skill development. All activities are led by an SST trainer. Participants play every Saturday morning from 9:00 am to 10:00 AM on "The Level Playing Field" in front of Turf Field B at Heavenly Farms. Please go to the following link to register: Registration Link. The registration fee for players is $25 for the season. There is no charge for being a volunteer, but volunteers must be at least 12 years old. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Adriana Siegal at firstname.lastname@example.org
