State Assessment Proficiency Graduation Requirement
All students in order to graduate must demonstrate proficiency in language arts and mathematics as defined by the Commissioner of Education on the State-wide assessment or State designated substitute assessments or through the State Portfolio Appeal Process. In order to graduate the student must have met or exceeded the cut score set by the State on the NJSLA or an approved alternative assessment in both language arts and mathematics.
