    Welcome Back!

    Dear Parents and Guardians,

Robert Frost Elementary School’s faculty and staff are so excited to welcome everyone back for another amazing school year.  We plan to work together to create an educational environment that focuses on our students' academic, social and emotional growth. Utilizing a team approach, we are committed to providing a safe and engaging learning environment for all students. Our school year begins on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. The school day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:35 PM. Students can enter the building at 8:55 AM except for students who are participating in the early morning program.

Frost PTA has organized and planned several exciting events throughout the year for our school community. On Friday, September 9th at 6:00 PM, I hope all families will join us as we kick-off the 2022-2023 school year with the PTA sponsored Ice Cream Social. The Ice Cream Social will provide an opportunity for us to meet as a school community and begin to build a positive rapport and partnership. I would encourage all to join the Frost PTA and support their planned activities throughout the school year. We highly recommend volunteering or becoming a Volunteer VIP to assist with school-based activities. The school family partnership is an essential component in fostering a healthy and productive learning environment for our students.

For the 2022-2023 school year our theme will be, “We Push Through to Reach Our Rainbow”. This theme will guide our efforts as we encourage our students to persevere through any challenges they may encounter academically or socially. By empowering our students through character education, self-awareness, identity, and academic success they will have the foundation upon which to build and become global scholars.

Students will be celebrated for displaying positive behaviors associated with overall student success. Students will be acknowledged on our Rainbow Wall, presented with a certificate, and will have lunch with me on Friday. We will use this mantra and tie it into the fabric of our school community as we “Push Through” to success this academic year. Lastly, please remember that if you do not want your child’s picture to be placed on the school and/or district websites, you must return the Media and Internet Publicity Permission form.

    Educationally yours,
