    The 5th State of the District Address will take place at 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 23rd at the JMPAC. Once again, Dr. Valeski will share the accomplishments of the district. Following his remarks, teachers and students will showcase innovative classroom practices in the Hammarskjöld cafeteria. Special thanks to the East Brunswick Education Association, East Brunswick Principals and Supervisors Association and Aramark who are partnering in this event. 

    Hidden in Plain Sight: A free substance abuse prevention awareness program will be held on Wednesday, May 29th at 6:30 PM at Memorial Elementary School.  Please see flyer for more information.

    The East Brunswick Public Schools Community Programs Department is offering Kindergarten Readiness  and Early Learning Academies for Summer 2019.  Please see flyer for registration information.

    FREE to East Brunswick residents, the Bears and Cubs Preschool is an elective for high school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing careers in education. The high school students observe, plan, and teach lessons to the preschool students under the supervision of a certified teacher.  This FREE program operates three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:00-10:00 AM.     Attention all kids ages 2-12.  Come run at the Healthy Kids Running Series at East Brunswick High School.  https://www.healthykidsrunningseries.org/  Race dates are on Sundays:   5/19 and 6/2.  Come for all or just some of the races.  Registration is open.  You do not have to be an East Brunswick resident to participate.  

    The East Brunswick Library is hosting the 3rd Annual Reading/Arts and Craft Ramadan Program for kids up to 12 years of age on Sunday, May 19th from 2 PM - 4 PM.  Please come and join the FREE event.  In the spirit of Ramadan - they will also be having a small food drive so please bring a non-perishable item per child.

    Calling all families with Pre-K boys and girls! Join Cub Scout Pack 223 for an information session about joining our Lions Den!  All families with children entering  Kindergarten in September are welcome to join Pack 223 on Friday, May 17th, at 6:30pm at the Philo Lodge, 120 Old Bridge Turnpike, South River to learn more about becoming a cub scout!  Please see flyer for more details and contact information.
