    Please join Mayor Cohen for this month’s Virtual Town Hall on Thursday, October 19th at 7:00 PM. The holiday season is one of the best times for charitable giving. Mayor Cohen will be discussing opportunities to participate this year and community organizations and events that are doing great work in assisting our fellow residents.

     

    The East Brunswick High School Technology Education Community Service (EBTECS) Club is offering free computer and technology training to all EB Residents and district employees!

    Receive FREE one-on-one training from EBHS students. Participants will learn how to use computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as new technologies including smartphones, iPads, tablets, apps, Google Drive/Docs/Forms, etc. The next training class will be held this Saturday, October 21st, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the EBHS media center. Enrollment is limited. Registration will be on a first-come basis. Nine training classes are scheduled for the 2017-2018 school year, all on Saturdays from 9 AM to 11 AM.

    East Brunswick Public Schools along with the East Brunswick Education Association presents EB EdCamp Exit 9 on October 21st at Hammarskjold Middle School from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM.  The goal is to provide you with free professional development that encourages students, teachers and parents to come together and participate in engaging conversations about education.  Please see flyer for more information. The PRIDE Committee will be providing breakfast, a give-away, and a free raffle to all in attendance.

    The East Brunswick Education Association's PRIDE Committee will once again be showing its Pride in Public Education through our Learning Across the District presentations at monthly Board of Education meetings. Each month, students and staff from a different building(s) will be showcased, demonstrating the great things happening throughout the district.  The East Brunswick Education Association will be demonstrating its PRIDE in public education at the November 2 Board of Education meeting. Students and staff from Irwin and Lawrence Brook will be spotlighted in our Learning Across the District presentations.
