The Board of Education believes that the school facilities of this district should be made available for community purposes, provided that such use does not interfere with the programs of the schools. The district retains sole discretion to reject any application for the use of school facilities. Any purpose that is prohibited by law will not be approved. The Board reserves the right to withdraw permission after it has been granted.Use of School Facilities Policy and Regulation
East Brunswick Board of Education Policies and Regulations strictly govern the use of school facilities. Applicants should familiarize themselves with the Use of School Facilities Policy and Regulation, as well as all underlying policies and regulations. User groups must comply with all requirements.Applications
The use of school facilities will be considered upon receipt of the Facility Use Application. A printed and signed copy of the application must be filed with the district as follows:East Brunswick Public Schools

East Brunswick, NJ 08816The application will be reviewed and the requestor will be notified as to whether or not the facilities use request will be approved as submitted, approved with modifications, or denied. If approved, a permit will be issued for the facilities use.
East Brunswick Public Schools staff and student groups requesting the use of school facilities must meet with the school’s administration to discuss the event prior to submitting a facilities use application.

Applicants are solely responsible for any additional permits that may be required by the Township of East Brunswick. These may include, but are not limited to, health, fire, or code compliance permits. Please refer to the Township website at www.eastbrunswick.org for additional information. The Applicant shall covenant for himself, his executors, administrators and assigns that he will keep and save harmless the Board of Education, its successors, and assigns, from any and all liability for anything arising from or out of the occupancy of the applicant, his executors, administrators, or assigns, or his or their servants or agents and from any loss or damage arising from any fault or negligence by the applicant, his executors, administrators or assigns, on failure on his or their part to comply with any covenant, condition or obligation contained in this application or whether such loss or damage be caused by the failure of the Board of Education, their successors or assigns to perform any covenant contained herein to be performed by said Board of Education, their successors, or assigns.Problems Gaining Access to a Facility

· After regular operating hours, the East Brunswick Police Department at 732-390-6900 and state your name, organization, event, the school where you are approved for facilities use, and a phone number where you can be reached. An East Brunswick Public Schools representative will be contacted to return your call.
