Plot: The story is told through the eyes of  a fourteen year old girl, Susie Salmon, who was mysteriously murdered.  Although we as readers know what happened, the characters of the story struggle to solve the mystery of her death. Susie watches down from Heaven through all of this as the lives of her family and friends continue without her.

Why read? The book is a page turner that keeps you wanting more. It is easy to read, not too long, and has an interesting and unforgettable plot.

Plot: This book tells about a girl, Susie, who was killed at age 14. The story tells about Susies adjustment to Heaven, as she looks down at the loved ones she has left behind. Meanwhile, those still on earth try to cope with Susie's death; those closest to her try to solve the mystery to her unsolved murder.

Why read? This book is an easy read filled with a lot of emotion. It deals with lifes lessons of loss, cope, and love. This book strays away from the everyday boring novelit has murder, mystery, and suspense. However, I would recommend this book more for a female because of certain topics discussed throughout the plot.

Plot: The main character, Susie Salmon, was killed at the young age of fourteen. After her death, she watches her family, friends, and former life from heaven. News swept of her death, and everyone from her family and friends to the local police department try to find her killer.

Why read? This book would be more interesting to a female teenager, because of the topics. She deals with learning to cope with changes, and has to watch her family deal with issues that she can no longer help with, because she is only there watching from Heaven.
