Plot: The main
character, Patrick Lanigan, is a jaded lawyer from Mississippi. At the beginning
of the novel the reader quickly finds out that Patrick has stolen $90 million
from his former firm and has been on the run ever since. Meanwhile, Benny Aricia,
the man who is in debt due to Patrick�s heist, has hired a team to track down
Patrick. After 4 years of tracking, Aricia�s men catch Patrick only to find out
that he knows nothing about the money�s whereabouts. From this point forward,
the entire novel is filled with suspense and mystery, in which the reader finds
out what had happened during the 4 years that Patrick was in hiding.
Why read? Simply put, this book contains a great amount is a must read, a 10/10. Personally, I was unable to put the book down. I wanted to find out how Patrick stole the money, why he stole the money, and ultimately, how he was caught. This novel not only provided some background information on our nation's legal system, but also a great amount of suspense and mystery.

Plot: For four years Danilo
has been hiding in a small Brazilian town. After this time in hiding, he is
discovered by an organization sent to find him. Why do they want to find? He
stole 90 million dollars from his law firm and escaped. To the world he is
Danilo but his true identity, Patrick Lanigan, died in fatal car crash. He left
a wife and child with 2.5 million dollars and caused his firm to go bankrupt. A
lot of people are after him and when they find him all they want is the money.
The problem is, he does not even know where it is.
Why read? This book is filled with exciting twists and turns that will catch the reader off guard. Every time you expect one thing, the opposite occurs. The Partner is filled with murder, theft, law, mystery, and thrill. The perfect recipe for an excellent novel.
Reviewer�s note: A book you will not want to put down. For those who are worried about the law aspect, it is minimal.
