We have great activities and a fun way for all of Irwin students to get excited about reading! There will be opportunities for you to also get involved at home to support your students.
*There is no reading log as homework.
Unit 6 Math Test will be 3/28 and 3/30.
Fundations Unit 10 Test will be 3/31.
Week 2 Words:
Monday: score, polish, maze, smallest
Tuesday: birthday, explain, runway, airport, crayon
Wednesday: American, school, answer, picture, thought
Thursday: The rain did not delay the baseball game.
SS Unit 4 Test will be 4/4. Study guides, packets, and textbooks will be sent home the week before the test!
*Reminder: Challenge packet is enrichment to extend student thinking in the classroom. The study guide is the best resource to prepare for the test.
We have been practicing math facts with Rocket Math. Students who did not pass will receive a blank page to practice that night. Rocket Math will be done every day before students pack up. Our schedule is already so busy, to participate in Rocket Math for the day, students need to be prepared with a pencil and paper to complete at the time of the test.
As a reminder, Rocket Math is a program we use to support students when learning math facts. It is not mandatory according to the math program and the grades do not count on the report card.

Passwords and login information is stapled in your child's homework pad (agenda).
You have access to the lessons that we learn, as well as games to practice skills that will be on the first assessment. Instead of having a review day, everyday we have been reviewing using the Math Boxes.
