School clubs and activities are an integral part of the educational program in the schools. They begin in the elementary schools, where there are activities such as chorus, intramural sports and audiovisual clubs. There are also district-wide beginners' and intermediate bands and orchestras. More activities are available in the middle school and junior high. East Brunswick High School has the largest number, including several instrumental and vocal music groups, student publications and many clubs, honor societies and service organizations.
