Welcome to Churchill Junior High School Churchill Junior High has been designated as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the United States Department of Education. Through a challenging and diverse curriculum and a broad variety of extra-curricular programs, our staff strives to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of our 1,469 eighth and ninth graders and to help them continue the proud East Brunswick tradition of Excellence in Academics, Athletics, and the Arts. East Brunswick has a district-wide technology plan that includes one of the largest ATM networks for a K-12 district in the country. Through our partnership with Lucent Technologies and Bay Networks we are networked to approximately 4,000 drops in the district and the Internet. Every classroom in Churchill Junior High is connected to this network, and we are committed to integrating technology throughout our curriculum. In addition to providing information about Churchill Junior High School, it is my hope that this web page will become a resource for a variety of information and a valuable link connecting our students, parents, and the East Brunswick community to our school. ATHLETICS Fall Sports Tryouts/Practices Download the Athletic Packet 2009-2010 If you are parents of students planning to participate in Intramurals activities next year, you will need to get your son/daughter their physical for next year after June 1 (forms [coming soon] can be found on our web page- click on Athletics) New in 2008, the state requires all students participating in intramurals to have a physical (same as the athletic physical form) or they will not be able to participate. |
